Our Culture
We are a warm friendly enthusiastic community of believers from all walks of life joined together in the bond of friendship and love for one another. We're incredibly passionate about our God and His church, expressing our true worship of Him "In Spirit and In Truth". Together our focus and commitment is to make a difference within our community.
Our Strategy
Implement training programs that encourage growth in the Christian walk, developing every member in their ministry.
To effectively disciple new converts through our Christian Foundation Course.
To encourage and empower those who are called to lead, through our Leadership Training Course, and through our In Christ's Image Training Bible College Course.
To multiply strong healthy "Life Groups" in every town and village throughout the Highlands.
To touch the needs of our communities through local outreach groups and special events.
To train disciples & send out evangelistic outreach teams to help establish new churches & encourage existing ones.
To financially support the needs of the mission field, as God leads us.
To regularly host visiting ministry to encourage and strengthen us in our journey.
Why Is Vision So Important?
Vision plays a vital role at OneLife, as it is our mandate and our DNA. It's the focal point of all that we are and do, and acts as a blazing campfire that people gather round.
Proverbs 29:18a says “Where there is no vision the people will perish.” When people are not given to Kingdom vision, they will wander aimlessly and will have no real desire to "bounce out of bed" and live life to the fullest.
In Habakkuk 2:2 says “Then the LORD answered me and said: Write the vision and make it plain on paper. That he may run who reads it. Here the prophet Habakkuk teaches on the importance of the vision being made clear to the people. He says to write the vision out on paper, making it easier to understand and to partner with.
Ultimately, vision has the ability to shape the future. When mixed with faith and the anointing of God to see it come to pass, it can become unstoppable. Especially when it is taken up by a team of people who are committed to flowing together in a common cause.
May we always strive to pour our lives into Kingdom purpose and the needs of others, only then will life take on a whole new meaning.
